Purple = Vision wards. Keep one up on dragon after it's first spawn (which should be sight warded). Baron should have vision on it shortly after it spawns at 15 mins.
Green = Sight wards, keep these places warded as much as gold constraints allow to see what is going on in the jungle.
Red = Highly agressive wards, place these during heavy pushing parts of the game when a surprise attack might lose it for you.
Dragon + Baron control should be one of the highest priorties, they give such a gold/xp advantage its stupid to let the opposing team have it for free.
